This is a great opportunity for any pilot looking to fly our 1969 Cessna 150J, equipped with a Garmin glass cockpit and fully IFR-certified, anywhere in the United States. It’s an ideal way to build flight hours quickly while gaining real cross-country experience and staying competitive for airline career opportunities.
Here’s how time building works: you’ll come to Port Angeles (KCLM), pick up the aircraft, and fly as much as you’d like—typically 5 to 10 hours per day—over the course of your trip.
To get started, all I require is a copy of your FAA pilot certificate, current FAA medical, a valid flight review, and a state or federal ID.
All rates are wet, meaning fuel and oil are included. There are no restrictions on where you can fly. For example, you and a fellow pilot could plan an unforgettable trip to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, or explore destinations like California, Arizona, or Florida.

If you plan to fly with a friend, you may take advantage of the FAA safety pilot rule, allowing both pilots to log flight time while sharing the cost of the rental.
Under this rule, one pilot acts as the safety pilot while the other flies under simulated instrument conditions. This is a great way for both pilots to build valuable flight experience efficiently.
If you’d like to learn more about the FAA Safety Pilot rule under 14 CFR §91.109, please review the reference material below.
